Saturday night blacksmiths gathering
The ‘Smiths Gathering is open to blacksmiths, metal creatives, festival instructors, stallholders, workshop participants, former waterside students, festival volunteers, members of blacksmithing associations and those keen to meet other blacksmiths.
This year we have organized a catered gathering in the back courtyard of the Waterside Metal Art Studio on the event site on Saturday 17 May following the first day of the Blacksmiths Festival.
You can expect a relaxed vibe with music over drinks and food as we cheers to the end of the first fabulous day of the festival.
The courtyard will be closed to the general public, so this will be a good opportunity to sit around a fire and chat with people about what they are doing or exciting projects on the horizon. We would love it if you could join us!

This will be a ticketed event and we ask for a $60 (plus booking fee)* to help cover the costs of the night.
Food plus two drinks included in the ticket price with additional drinks available for purchase. Let us know your dietary requirements when you book: vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free options are available.
Tickets will be available until 17 May 2022 unless sold out beforehand.
Due to space restrictions tickets will be limited so please book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
