A bit about Uptown Brown’s Pinball Parlor

It all started in lockdown—a project born from creativity, nostalgia, and a little extra time at home with the kids. But make no mistake—this isn’t a recreation of the first electric pinball machines. Instead, it’s a fresh take on something even older: Bagatelle, a game that dates back to the 1920s and ‘30s!

Bagatelle was the forerunner of modern pinball, featuring a sloped board, obstacles, and scoring holes—but no flippers. As a kid in the ‘80s, Uptown Brown had an antique Bagatelle game and always wished it had that extra element of control. Fast-forward 40 years (and one global lockdown later), and that dream finally became a reality!

Now, with handmade craftsmanship and a sprinkle of vintage charm, Uptown Brown’s Pinball Parlor brings you a flipper-powered twist on this classic game. It’s retro, it’s fun, and it’s built with the same passion that started it all.
